Carolina Grilo Santos (Aveiro, 1993) lives and works in Porto. She has a degree in Fine Arts - Multimedia and a master degree in Contemporary Artistic Practices by FBAUP. In 2016, she was selected to represent Portugal in the European Itinerant Exhibition by CreArt, curated by Luísa Santos, presented in Kaunas (Lithuania), Kristiansand (Norway) and Aveiro (Portugal). In 2017, she was selected for the first edition of Portuguese Emerging Art catalogue. Carolina Grilo Santos exhibits regularly since 2014, highlighting the solo exhibitions "mapped waters are quieter than land" (Espaço Birra, 2020) and "Um exercício para tabelar um fenómeno" (Galeria MCO, 2018) and the group exhibitions "Poético ou Político?" (Mupis of Porto, 2020), curated by João Baeta and "um tiro no espaço" (Gnration, 2017) counting with performances presented at Serralves, through Sintoma project, in 2015 and 2018.
